When choosing a provider for a gambling project, the operator must not only take their experience and reputation into account, but also the quality of the software they have previously developed.

Disclaimers
The present research examines gambling providers regardless of their status as an independent company, subsidiary, or internal division, as well as whether they are currently inactive, or have been bought out and rebranded.
The data collected does not claim absolute completeness and is intermediate in the planned research cycle.
Research Methodology
The gambling provider research was carried out through open sources and by utilizing the following search methods:
- Google search;
- Search features on websites with information regarding providers and casinos, such as iGaming Suppliers and Slot Catalog
- Provider data collection among those present or mentioned on individual casino websites.
For ease of comparison, the resulting information is grouped by the following criteria:
- Region (Office) — the country which houses the provider's headquarters;
- ICE London 2022 — whether the provider participated in ICE London 2022;
- Traffic April — number of official website visits in April 2022;
- On demand — whether the provider develops custom games on customer's order;
- Games — number of games provided for customers;
- Casinos — number of casinos using the provider's games;
- Slots/Classic — provides Slots and other Classic games;
- Live — currently engaged in live game development;
- Booking — develops betting software and/or sports betting platforms;
- Bingo/Lottery — develops Bingo and Lottery software.
Short Insights
We have found 488 gambling providers. The total number can be broken down by the type of games provided:
- 444 providers supply Slots and Classic games;
- 55 providers supply Live Games;
- 39 providers supply Booking;
- 59 providers supply Bingo and Lotteries.
Regions with the largest number of providers:
- 84 providers from the United Kingdom;
- 68 providers from Malta;
- 41 providers from the USA;
- 20 providers from Sweden;
- 14 providers from Australia;
- 13 providers from Italy;
- 12 providers from Bulgaria;
- 10 providers from China;
- 9 providers from the Isle of Man;
- 9 providers from Gibraltar.
52 providers participated in ICE London 2022. This criterion was introduced to better check provider involvement in the iGaming industry and indirectly assess their size.
Addendum
While compiling the dataset, two additional lists were created:
- Top 10 gambling providers:
- List of the 10 providers connected with the most casinos.
- List of acquired/terminated providers:
- Includes providers acquired by other companies, rebranded, or operating exclusively as an internal department.
