Alta raised a total of $12.8 million in funding through four rounds. Their most recent funding was a Seed round on January 26, 2022.

The company was founded by leaders from games including EverQuest, Call of Duty, Diablo, God of War, Assassin’s Creed, and Elden Ring among others.

The company is building a platform for games that could one day take advantage of the metaverse. It foresees an interoperable universe, tied together through technologies such as game engines and blockchain technology.

Nümi raised $20 million in funding from a single Seed round on January 11, 2023.

Nümi is an online entertainment ecosystem that brings together influencers, creators, and gamers. It offers a range of tools for virtual reality (VR) users to create immersive experiences and explore a multitude of virtual worlds built by communities. Nümi expands the possibilities of the digital universe, providing a platform where users can unleash their creativity and engage with captivating VR content.

  1. Gameplay Galaxy

Gameplay Galaxy secured $12.8 million in funding from a Seed round on September 7, 2022.

Gameplay Galaxy is building the first Web3 competitive games decentralized ecosystem. They recently completed a $12.8 million seed round to build this first-of-its-kind ecosystem. 

The round was led by Blockchain Capital, with participation from Merit Circle, Com2uS, Mysten Labs, Solana Ventures, Yield Guild Games, and Hustle Fund1.

Apeiron raised a total of $17.5 million in funding across three rounds. Their most recent funding round, a Seed round, occurred on April 28, 2022.

Apeiron is a play-to-earn NFT game that is part of a new wave of token-driven games. It utilizes governance, play-to-earn, and alliance tokens to create a dynamic economy that mirrors the real world. The game’s NFTs, in the form of Planets, Stars, and Relics, put ownership in the hands of the player. What you make in the game is yours: keep it, sell it, or use it in the wider NFT metaverse.

  1. Deep Voodoo

Deep Voodoo received $20 million in funding from a single Seed round on December 14, 2022.

Deep Voodoo is an AI media and entertainment technology platform based in Belfast, United Kingdom. The company was founded in 2020 and has raised $20 million in seed funding.

Deep Voodoo is building the best-in-class deep fake tools in the industry today. The artificial intelligence entertainment startup was formed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Deep Voodoo began building the world’s leading proprietary deep fake technology in early 2020.

AQUA secured $10 million in funding from a Seed round on September 28, 2022.

SuperTeam Games was founded with the goal of developing a new kind of sports game enhanced by blockchain integration. The company’s games will be powered by Forte as part of a strategic partnership.

Cinamon has raised a total of ₩24 billion in funding across two rounds. Their latest funding, a Seed round, took place on September 21, 2022.

Cinamon is a specialized visual story platform catering to casual games. Established in 2018 as a collaboration with Naver Webtoon, the company initially launched the interactive stories app “Maybe,” which marked the beginning of their journey into the realm of visual storytelling.   1. Galaxy Blitz

Galaxy Blitz raised $10 million in funding from a Seed round on January 29, 2022.

Galaxy Blitz is a Play-To-Earn NFT game that takes place in the distant future and sees various factions battle it out for galactic supremacy. The game is set centuries in the future as four unique highly evolved descendants of humanity fight for dominance in battles on both lands and in space1.

Players can earn a variety of tokens via battles and resource farming as they lead their faction to galactic dominance. The game also features extensive lore on the four different races that populate the game.

GGWP has raised a total of $12 million in funding across two rounds. Their latest funding, a Seed round, occurred on March 21, 2022.

GGWP is a platform that provides a gaming tool to help reduce toxic and disruptive behavior in games. The company’s platform enables game developers to deeply understand their game community’s health and take action to improve it. GGWP combines game-specific insights from social media, player behavior, text chat, and player reports to help reduce moderation costs and take smarter actions to sanction and reward players.

GGWP utilizes AI models to comb through gameplay data to find incidents that have a negative impact on player experience such as friendly fire, intentional disconnects, and griefing. The platform also works to identify anomalies and bad actors using server-side cheat detection.
